War Horse


‘War Horse’ a full-on Spielberg spectacle


The most acclaimed filmmaker of his time, Steven Spielberg is also the most commercial.

That is the one beef against him, and that would explain the shameless emotional sucker punch that is “War Horse,” a World War I story about the unbreakable bond between handsome English farm lad Albert (newcomer Jeremy Irvine) and his even more attractive thoroughbred horse Joey.
