FRIENDS DON'T EAT FRIENDS FOOTNOTE: WHEN I SEEN THIS ARTICLE I COULDN'T HELP THINK INITIALLY "AWWWW, WHAT A GREAT STORY". BUT IN RETROSPECT, WHY, WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY HORSES HEADED TO SLAUGHTER, ESPECIALLY QUARTER HORSES, WOULD ANYONE GO THROUGH THIS? I REALIZE THE DEAD MARE WAS PROBABLY THOUGHT TO BE ONE OF A KIND, BUT WITH SLAUGHTER STATS WHAT THEY ARE, WHY? JUST A LITTLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT. LETS HOPE THESE WONDERFUL BABIES GROW UP IN A SAFE WORLD WERE SLAUGHTER DOESN'T EXIST.
